Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use Policy

STL Buddy is a general-purpose image-to-3D conversion tool designed to help users transform their own original designs and lawfully owned images into 3D printable files. STL Buddy does not grant any license to copyrighted or trademarked material and does not permit the use of its services to create, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercialize intellectual property that the user does not have lawful rights to use.

By using STL Buddy, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the images, prompts, and content you upload
• You represent and warrant that you own or have lawful permission to use any intellectual property contained in your inputs
• STL Buddy does not verify ownership or licensing of uploaded content
• STL Buddy does not assume liability for user-generated content that infringes third-party rights

STL Buddy expressly prohibits the use of its platform for creating or deriving 3D models based on protected intellectual property, including but not limited to:

• Branded characters (e.g., movie, television, comic, or game characters)
• Licensed toy designs
• Corporate mascots
• Protected character likenesses
• Recognizable proprietary figure systems or design standards

STL Buddy:

• Does not encourage, promote, or endorse the creation of infringing content
• Does not provide presets, templates, examples, or tutorials for creating copyrighted or trademarked material
• Does not market itself as a tool for recreating protected intellectual property
• Does not claim ownership of any user-generated content

STL Buddy is a neutral, general-purpose tool. While STL Buddy takes reasonable steps to discourage prohibited uses, it is not feasible to pre-screen all user inputs. If a user misuses STL Buddy to create infringing content:

• Such use is solely attributable to the user
• STL Buddy, its owners, operators, and affiliates are not responsible for that misuse
• STL Buddy reserves the right to restrict access, suspend accounts, or remove content when misuse is identified

Nothing on STL Buddy's platform shall be construed as granting:

• A license
• An assignment
• Permission
• Authorization

STL Buddy is committed to compliance with applicable intellectual property laws and respects the rights of copyright and trademark holders.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• STL Buddy shall not be liable for user-generated content
• STL Buddy shall not be liable for downstream use, printing, selling, or distribution of user-created files
• Users assume all legal responsibility for how generated files are used

By accessing or using STL Buddy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use Policy. Failure to comply may result in account suspension or termination.
